Laura "Laurie" Heath Little DANIEL ISLAND - Laura "Laurie" Heath Little, 55, of Daniel Island, SC returned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. She was peacefully surrounded by her 3 sons and family. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on Feb 1, 1960. She was the daughter of Barbara Bowman Echtenkamp and the late Glenn John Heath, Jr. Laurie is survived by her Mother, Barbara Bowman Echtenkamp (Alan), her 3 loving and devoted sons Heath Coppedge Little, Harrison Bowman Little, Hudson Joseph Little; 2 brothers Glenn John Heath III (Joni, Daniel, Jordan), Scott Robert Heath (Rebecca, Cooper, Chandler); 2 sisters Dana Ann Heath, Dallas Bowman and her former spouse Dr. Craig N. Little. Laurie grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Ft. Johnson High School and attended The College of Charleston where she was a Chi Omega. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church on Daniel Island. Her strong faith in God was the foundation of her life and all who encountered her were touched by her loving and generous spirit. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am on Sat., Sept. 26 in the Performing Arts Center of Bishop England High School, 363 Seven Farms Dr., Daniel Island, 29492. The family requests guests arrive early. In honor of her vivacious personality, her wish was for everyone to dress Cheerfully.
