We think of you Martha and know that this expression of sadness is all that we can offer you. Darrell and I remember when you were a girl and we were all neighbors in Charlotte. We loved you then and now we send to you, a fine and loving mother, our deepest sympathy. We also send your parents, Carolyn and Wayne, our sympathy and love in their time of such great sadness.

We have never met. I was heartbroken when I learned that 2 young people had lost their lives right next to my home. My mind immediately went to the fact that 2 sets of parents have lost their children. I am a mother and grandmother and can't imagine the pain and heartache that you are feeling. I prayed for you that early morning and have been continuing to lift you and your family up in prayer. My heart aches for you but I serve a living God who is the comforter of all. My fervent prayer is that God will wrap his arms around you with his love and strength during the next days, weeks, months and years.
