Edward, Ed, Liesl and Michael, I was so sorry to hear about Katherine. I am so sorry for your sudden loss and can't imagine the pain you are feeling. Katherine and your whole family are in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

Prayers for comfort to the family. I thought Kat in middle school. She was a vibrant, happy girl and a joy to have in class. I am so sorry for your loss.

Kat and I were in the same homeroom while attending Bishop England. When I think of Kat, I think of two things: she had the kindest soul and she ALWAYS smiled at you. Looking back, she was a true inspiration in finding who she was and being herself, unapologetically. As we approach our 10 year reunion, I will miss her dearly but know she is looking down on us, smiling, in spirit. Gone too soon, but with us forever. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and her sweet parents as their faith is tested during this time. And to Kat, I hope to see you again one day.

Kat was a lively presence in my English classroom and on the volleyball court at BEHS. Her friendliness to and concern for others were much admired. And , yes, I remember where she sat in my room. My condolences to the Westbooks; May you take comfort in memories of her vivacious life.

Kat lit up every room she entered. She never let anyone feel left out. She had the kindest and most pure soul. It will feel so strange not having her next to me in class. I'll miss getting caught up on her life and hearing stories of Boris. I miss her dearly already. My condolences go out to the Westbrook family.

I only hope the best for her family. I am very sorry about her passing. She will be deeply missed. I can't think of how many times she helped me cram for a test. She was so smart. I remember a lot of laughter as well.

I had the honor of watching Kat work with and lead students at the Charleston School of Law and was impressed by her poise, compassion, and leadership. She will be greatly missed.

I remember being able to hear Katherine´s laugh from all the way down the hall. It was so genuine and reflected the zest for life she had. I remember her being witty, smart, funny, confident, and a straight ballerrr on the volleyball court. I´d personally not spent a lot of time with her because we were in different classes and extracurriculars but it was clear that she was the kind of girl who was true to herself and worked hard in the pursuit of what she was passionate about.

We wish to send our deepest sympathy for the loss of Kat. The news devastated us when we heard. We thought of her as part of our extended family. We enjoyed the many times she and Gareth were at our home. She will be sorely missed. Unfortunately, due to Barbara's illness we will not be able to attend the services, but you will be in our thoughts.

To all of Kat's family, I am sorry for this sudden loss. I was a classmate of Kat's at the law school, we started at the same time in the Summer Honors Program, and had orientation and Contracts together. She always brightened everyone's day and we will miss her smile around campus. You have my deepest sympathy and care during this hour of need.

We were fortunate to work with Kat during her time at Emerson, and as a staff we send our deepest condolences to the Westbrook family and our love to Kat. Our time with her will be remembered always.

I was Kat's athletic trainer at Emerson College, and I have so many memories of hours spent in the AT room talking with her about life and volleyball. Sending my deepest condolences to the Westbrook family and my love to Kat, may she Rest In Peace.

I only met Kat a handful of times, but I was always amazed at her unconditional kindness towards others. She was authentically herself--unique, witty, and sincerely friendly. I remember the day we met--she noticed my USC Law hat and struck up a conversation. I was immediately touched by her warmth. I just remember being blown away by her encouraging words and genuine interest in my well-being. She was knowledgeable on so many subjects and was so fun to talk to. I will miss her, as will everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. I am praying for the Westbrook family, the CSOL community, and Kat's close friends.
