I am shocked to learn of Karen´s passing. I "grew up" with her in the fashion industry and have often thought of her in the years since we lost touch. She cherished her family. May her memory be for a blessing.

On behalf of Charleston Animal Society, I want to thank you for choosing to request donations instead of flowers in memory of Karen. Your thoughtful gesture will leave a lasting legacy of hope for homeless animals. We are deeply saddened by your loss, and I hope it brings some comfort to know that her memory will be helping so many animals. Thank you so much! I had the pleasure of discussing cats and kittens with Karen, and her love for all animals was very clear. She was a passionate advocate who helped many animals throughout her life. The world has lost an incredible soul. My heart goes out to Bob, Sophie, Abigail, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
