John Moroney CHARLESTON - John Gerard Moroney, 60, of Nenagh, Ireland, husband of Margureitta Moroney entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 16, 2024. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, where an evening prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Burial services will be held later in Lisbunny Old Cemetery, Lisbunny Nenagh, County Tipperary, Republic of Ireland. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel. John was born July 9, 1963, in Limerick, Ireland, son of William Moroney and Bridget Toohey Moroney. He was a Business Development Manager at H.B. Fuller Company where he worked for the past five years. John was an avid traveler, loved being in nature and always put his family first. One of his greatest pleasures, was his beloved rugby. He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Moroney, Sheena (Mark Kruger) Moroney; three sisters, Mary Moroney, Ann Shanahan, Geraldine Pardy; brother, Martin Maroney; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kara, Rhys, and Mark; and many nieces and nephews.
