John Henry Friedrich, III CHARLESTON - John Henry Friedrich, III departed this life on Sunday, April 19, 2015. John was 61. John was born April 13, 1954, in New York. He was the son of the late John Henry Friedrich, II of North Charleston and the late Mary Marguerite Friedrich of New Jersey. John was a sales specialist for A.J. Davis and he retired from M. Dumas & Sons, a famous clothier in Charleston. John shared his life with William E. Teal, Jr. (Bill) a faithful, devoted companion that provided much love and care for him. He will be missed by his loving dog, "Lucy". He is survived by two aunts living in Charleston, two nieces and two nephews in New Jersey and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving sister, Mary Juanita Friedrich Binstein of Hackensack, New Jersey. John loved serving his customers at M. Dumas & Sons. He made friends easily with customers and established lasting friendships with them. Most shared incidentals of their lives, which endeared them to him even more. Everyone at M. Dumas & Sons, owners and employees alike, admired and respected John's expertise.
