I had the pleasure of spending nearly 12 years of my life with John Brian. He saved me and my daughters after my divorce back in 2000. We were a broken family and he filled our lives with kindness, love, and joy. We spent 5 of those years in Michigan and then the remainder in Charleston, SC so he could be closer to his family. I cannot begin to tell you how much he meant to me. He was my best friend, and I loved him dearly. My sincere love and sympathy I am sending to his family and his wife Jennifer. I know your hearts are breaking, but please try to find some comfort in knowing that he was loved by all who knew him. Julie Tann

John, I did not know your son, but I am sure you loved him very much. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of John. It is always hurts to lose a loved one, especially your child. I know he will be resting with God by his side.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news. I have know Brian since our early teens. I can truly say I never saw him without a smile on his face. I remember I was doing my nursing clinicals and it had been a hard day. I was struggling with my decision to become a nurse. I saw him with at great big smile and he extended a hug. I realized at that moment that I had to continue my journey to be able help others. I cant even begin to imagine what he has been though since his diagnosis but I truly do admire the courage, strength and zest of life that he had. I will always think of him as the strongest and bravest person i have ever meet. May he Rest In Peace until we are to see that beautiful smile again.
My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, family and friends. May god give you comfort at this very difficult time.

John Brian was the greatest son-in-law I could have ever wished! He loved and cared unconditionally for my daughter. What a gift a daughter's father could ever experience! I'll miss him.

Dear Johnny and Doris, so sorry to hear about the death of John Brian. He was always a smiling face greeting us Parrot Creek dog walkers on the porch as we walked by and he really loved his dogs as well as his family. He was tough fighter who loved life.

What do you say about such a wonderful man ... Brian was caring, compassionate, kind and loving. I had the great honor of meeting him when he was 19 years old ... went thru the beginning of his illness till now .... he always kept a smile and tried his hardest to make you laugh and feel comfortable ...
