You and your family have
been in our prayers. What a
great lost to humanity to
loose such a warm and
spiritual man. Your dad
left quite a legacy behind.
We have lived life long
enough to know what a burden
every day circumstances can
add to life and weigh a
person down, but that was a
part that your dad never
showed. Focused and
positive inspite of how hard
life was. I will always
remember him with the smile
he embraced everyone he made
eye contact with and be
inspired to share that part
of his legacy - choose to be
happy regardless of what
life throws at you. Love all of you -

Uncle Joel was a very gentle and kind man. He always had a smile and a big hug for me whenever I saw him. He had a special touch with animals and it seemed like they knew he wouldn't hurt them. He loves his Lord, wife and children and family. I just imagine you singing How Great Thou Art to the Lord now...........

Memories, its all I have. None recent. I left home at 18 and only went back ever 4 or 5 years. I suppose I am lucky that I don't have any memories of him during the last 4 years. My only memories are of him smiling his country boy smile. He was a kind man. A bit strict as I was growing up but he meant well. It is sad how his life ended. No one should be stripped of their dignity like that. My mom was took care of him as best she could. I am grateful and proud of her strength and dedication to my father. I could only be so lucky to find a woman who would love me as much as she loved my father. Rest in peace dad.

HE WAS A VERY KIND MAN AND MAY GOD BLESS HIM AND HIS FAMILY. BRIAN HUDNALL FEDEX FREIGHT DRIVER
