Phil and I were so sorry we could not be there this week-end to offer our hugs and support to you in the loss of dear Joan. She and Gene were very special to us through the big band gigs and piano lessons.
She has been reunited with Gene and for that we can be thankful.

Lisa,
I am sorry to learn of your Mom's passing, I can still see her picking you up from school in her VW van. I remember her, in my childhood, attending our field trips and always having a smile on her face. I send you and your family prayers to help you through this time of change.

My best memories of Joan and Gene were in their home. A loving nuturting place for all who entered there was a blessing from God.
While employed at St. John's School I experienced Bible teaching and worship and praise and discipliship from being part of the Trinity Prayer Group.
Diagnosed with cancer by Dr. Patricia Carter; I asked my husband to call the elders of the church, Bill O'Brien and Gene Moeller. Within thirty minutes there were in our home.
I remember with a very thankful heart when Joan's husband, Gene told me to pray Psalm 51:10 and following. I knew that began with "Create in me a clean heart. . "
Knowing how the Holy Spirit worked in Gene's life and ministry I was glad to comply. That one prayer saved my life from cancer. The next test ordered by Dr. Carter showed absolutely no cancer! Her comment was: "I heard they did miracles up there in that prayer group!"
Thank you dear Moeller family for sharing your Father and Mother with my family. I am alive today because of the mercy of God and their obedience to His Word. That was thirty-seven years ago.
I pray we all live to give God the glory every day as we seek to serve him wholeheartedly.
God give you grace to grieve and to enjoy memories of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a mighty woman of God and is in his presence for all eternity now. Thank you for sharing your Father, Gene with me as well. Peace and God's blessing on you all.

9/30/16 Today I received a call from a dear friend and kindergarten teacher that worked with me at St. John's. Ida Swindell told me of Joan's passing and I want you to know of my prayers, and sympathy for all of you. Truly I remember Joan and Gene as "salt of the earth" people who were the face of Jesus for so many. It is a great loss but what joy there must be in heaven when Gene and Joan meet again. God bless all of you. I have wonderful memories of the Moellers.

Dear Tish,
So sad to read of your Mom's passing. I have such fond memories of sitting behind your Mom and Dad at St. John's and then finding that you were their daughter. We are in England until mid October,so, will not be able to attend service. Our thoughts and prayers are with y'all.

To everyone in the Moeller family, I am so sorry to hear of Joan's passing and know you must miss her deeply. I've known Joan and Gene since my daughter Candice and Jessica were in K-5 at St John's. Having just become Catholic, Joan was my mentor, guide, and model of holiness, always cheerful, always ready with a kind word and helping hand, radiating joy that could only come from God. And now she's forever with Jesus and our Blessed Mother, and her darling Gene.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord; And let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
