Jimmy Grimsley Obituary

Jimmy Grimsley Harleyville, SC - Jimmy Benjamin Grimsley, 55, of Harleyville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Harleyville with the Reverend Terry Hiers officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors in the Limestone Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George. Jimmy was born on July 4, 1960 in Charleston, a son of Grace Jean Parker Grimsley and the late James Terrell "Jimmy" Grimsley. He served in the US Army and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Harleyville. He was an equipment operator with Dorchester Logistics. Surviving are mother, Grace Jean P. Grimsley; brothers, Gene (Donna) Grimsley, Tommy (Patti) Grimsley and Terry (Marsha) Grimsley; nieces and nephews, Patrick (Amanda) Grimsley, Laura Grimsley, Brittany (Phillip) Reeves, Ashleigh Grimsley and Bridgett (Travis) Mizell; great-nephews, Hunter, John, Mason Grimsley, Brantley Reeves and Levi Mizell.
