To Lynda and the rest of Jeff's family, my deepest sympathies on your loss. To Jeff, you were one of the most intelligent, sincere, funny and kind persons I have ever known. I will never forget your warm humor and friendship. Many happy memories mingle with sadness as I think of your passing. Rest well and in peace, my friend.

I had the pleasure to work with Jeff at AmeriCorps NCCC. Jeff and I both enjoyed testing one another with trivia, including musical trivia. I remember I once convinced him to perform the entire Trouble recitation from Music Man, one of my favorite musicals, at a staff meeting. As the NCCC lawyer, I had to endure many lawyer jokes from Jeff, but they were always good natured. Jeff served his country well, both as a Naval Officer and as an AmeriCorps NCCC Region Director. He will be sorely missed by us all.

I remember Jeff from his days in Mechanicsburg at SPCC. He was always a bit of a maverick, didn't play political games, invariably brilliant, and always quick witted with impeccable integrity. I count him as one of the people who had a significant positive influence over my civilian career. RIP.

I kept telling Jeff to eat those fruit pies!! Lynda, he'd enjoy a good laugh at that. Seriously, saddened by his passing. Susan and I send prayers and condolences to you, Steve and Jeff's whole family.

One of my most influential mentors as I was growing up as a young submarine supply corps officer. An absolute gentleman, with one hell of a sense of humor!
