Jeannine Goron Obituary

GORON, Jeannine Mrs. Jeannine Breistroffer Goron, 80, of Charleston, SC died Sunday, February 12, 2006. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2006 at eleven o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Internment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Goron was born January 6, 1926 in Paris, France in the 14th Arrondissement to Andre Breistroffer and Augustine Breistroffer. She was the widow of Stanley Goron. Mrs. Goron came to the United States shortly after World War II. She was enamored with Charleston's European feel and resided in the area for forty-seven years. She will be remembered for her compassion and generous spirit and will be greatly missed. Surviving are: her daughters Chantal Marie-Louise Borzumato, Marianne Elizabeth Grac, and Marsha Paulette Lloyd; thirteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Charles Frisco, and her brother Roger Breistroffer, Vicar General of Algeria.
