Janie Lou Cooley Prather Walterboro - Janie Lou Cooley Prather, 83, of Walterboro, South Carolina, widow of Marion "Salty" Winfred Prather entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 26, 2017. The family received friends Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, Somerset, KY from 11:00 a.m., until the time for her funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Burial was in Prather-Yanders Cemetery, Nancy, KY. Local arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Janie was born July 15, 1934 in Somerset, KY, daughter of the late Bland Cooley and Evelyn Frisbie Cooley. She is survived by her son, Marion Winfred Prather, Jr., of Walterboro, SC; two grandchildren, Marion "Trey" Winfred Prather, III., of Walterboro, SC, Alexandria Elizabeth Prather-Goldberg of CA; one great-grandson, Bryson Prather; sister, Marlene Ament, and brother William Ronald Cooley.
