Aunt Jane - Well we survived Christmas. You may not have been with us in person, but you sure were in our hearts. Connor was so excited Christmas morning. Jerry and Michael Reid were with us and I could just almost see you on the couch smiling at Connor. Thanks for making me get the basketball goal. He has enjoyed it. Jane, I miss you so much. The only thing that I am thankful for is that both of us knew just how much we meant to each other. I will look after Jerry and Michael Reid for you and make sure Jerry makes Michael Reid study. Thank you so much for being the best sister-in-law in the world and thank you for all you meant to my family. Ryan misses his Aunt Jane so much, but you will be proud to know that he is doing well. Connor asks for you each day and we talk about you every night in our prayers. Thank you for helping him to be as bright and healthy as he is today. Michelle said that God has a perfect angel with him now and how right she was. I love you and will always treasure our times together. I love you. Sally

Jane was and still is an awsome person loved by all. She never knew a stanger and never turned down any who needed help. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and great aunt. I was very blessed to have Jane as my aunt. I loved the times when she came to Greensboro to visit mom because I loved spending time with her. I just want to tell everyone thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and she will be missed by all. Merry Christmas Jane we love you.

Jane was such a special person. I never knew anyone with so much patience. She was one of those people who didn't ask what she could do to help, she just did it. She was always looking out for others. I will miss her sweetness. Please know that I am still praying for the Raley family everyday.

Jane was an outstanding mother, wife, sister, teacher, and aunt. I am so blessed to have her as an aunt but more honored to have her as my friend. My prayers go out to all those who knew her. The community has lost a perfect person but the heavens have gain a perfect angel. She will forever be missed-
With all my love!

There will never be another Jane Raley and I know that if we could bottle and give to everyone the essence of Jane's spirit that the world would be a better and more patient place in which to live, love, and raise our children. I selfishly miss her and wish she was still here, but I'm also glad that she is at peace among God's angels.

I have worked with Jane in the SPED department for the past 8 years. I have never met a more devoted or compassionate teacher than Jane. She was always looking for ways to help her students be their very best. Jane had a kind and gentle nature that will never be forgotten by anyone who was lucky enough to know her. I personally will never forget that slow southern drawl Jane had when she spoke.I feel that I was very fortunate to have gotten the chance to know such a wonderful person.

I taught right beside Jane for two years. She was my mentor. It was my first time ever teaching SPED students. She was wonderful and never got tired of the endless questions I had about the children or the paperwork. We shared alot of good times and conversations together. I will miss not being able to run next door to ask or tell her something new about my students. She was a wonderful teacher, friend and Mother. I am so thank-ful that God brought her into my life! I will never forget her!

Jane Raley was a remarkable woman. She was our colleague and friend at W. M. Anderson Primary School.
She set the standard for all of us who worked with her. Jane was a pioneer in special education and a leader at our school. Her kind, gentle spirit touched us all. Jane will always be a part of us. There are close to 870 members of her school family. What an impact she had on our lives! Jane, we will never forget you. Your light will shine within our hearts forever. There will never be another teacher and friend like Jane Raley!

Mr. Raley and Michael, I am so sorry to hear of the lost of your wife and mother. Ms. Raley taught my daughter in third and fourth grade. Words can not express the way she touched Taylor's life. She was able to help Taylor learn in way that no one else had been able to do. I often said that I wish Ms. Raley could have been Taylor's teacher until she graduated high school! But she prepared Taylor for when she left Anderson Primary. She is twelve years old now and is doing very well. It will be very hard to replace her as a special needs teacher. As someone else said, she was phenomenal. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.
