James Sorenson Obituary

James C. Sorenson LADSON - James C. Sorenson, 72, resident of Ladson, SC, entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 29, 2010, at 2:31 AM. He was the devoted husband for fifty years of Judith Gay Deneen Sorenson, whom he loved with all his heart. A Graveside Memorial Service will be Tuesday afternoon, November 2, 2010, at Plantation Memorial Gardens at 3 o'clock. James was born December 27, 1937, in Racine, WI, a son of the late George and Regina Lewandowski Sorenson. He retired on November 30, 1976, as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country for 20 years. He then retired from Alumax in Goose Creek on February 1, 1998. Survivors include his wife, Judith Sorenson of Ladson; four loving sons, Randy (Camille) Sorenson of Virginia Beach, VA, Fred Sorenson of Cross, Rick (Pam) Sorenson of Lexington Park, MD, Jeff (Teresa) Sorenson of Summerville; seven grandchildren, Elicia (Ray) Hartneck, Michael Sorenson, Kristie Sorenson, Brandon Sorenson, Dylan Sorenson, Ashley and Jeff Sorenson, Jr; two great-grandchildren, Kaiden Sorenson and Aydin Hartneck; two sisters, Judith (Paul) Kielbasa of Racine, WI, Janet (Pete) Huffman of Almond, WI; nieces and nephews, Ardetta (Henry) Sherman, George Sorenson, Jr., Frank (Janice) Sorenson, Chantel (John) Lunda, Mark (Danielle) Sorenson, Bobby Sorenson, Anitia (Scott) Witt, Rick Sorenson, Joey (Pam) Sorenson, Chris Kielbasa, Debbie (Scott) Kristopeit, John Kielbasa, Casey Kielbasa, Jeff (Sue) Leinweber, Dawn (Chris) Nigh all of WI; and many dear friends who have come to know and love him. He is predeceased by his parents; his stepfather, Frank Blavat; sister, Mildred Post; brothers, George (John), Norman, and Robert Sorenson; niece, Rhonda Marie Leinweber.
