Ginny, I hope to get to Charleston one day in the not- too-distant future to visit. Loved seeing and speaking with Sally and Allister. Missed Leiza and was able to just give you a love pat. Dr.Jim's presense in this world will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Earlier, we were fraternity brothers at Furman and in later years we re-connected in both Columbia and Charleston. Despite his recent health issues, he always remained positive,ever-accomodating, and real in every relationship he had. The word "courageous" always comes to mind when I think of Jim and the manner in which he dealt with life despite his physical infirmities in later life. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this most difficult time.

In the years that Jim and I served together on the Palmetto Health Hospital Board I came to know, respect and love Dr. Jim Reynolds.
His contribution to the medical profession will benefit generations that follow him. His leadership in hospital governance will be reflected in better quality and patient care for decades to come. His faith and living testimony will continue to lift the spirits of so many with whom he shared.
My condolences to his wonderful family, which he so dearly loved and my thanks for their sharing of time in the life of this truly remarkable man. May God grant you peace and comfort you.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family. Dr Reynold's group was our Pathologist at Byrnes Medical Center. It was always a pleasure to see his smiing face. He was a smart man and offered a needed expertise. Again, my condolences to the family.

Jim was a good friend and KA brother during our time at Furman. He had a wonderful career.

Brother Jimmy "Pookie" was always someone who was fun to be around. He was a good friend and KA Brother. He's one of my life's treasured "most unforgettable characters". Jennie and family have our prayers and deepest sympathies. We'll miss him but not forget him.

I knew Dr. Reynolds as simply Jimmy Reynolds at Greenville High School. I haven't been in contact for many years but his family should be very proud of him. Really great guy way back when during school days.

We send you all our love and prayers in this sad time. Wish we could be there to give you all and especially Wren and Lucie hugs from all of us. We miss your family and feel deeply saddened for your loss. Your precious daddy joins mine in heaven and will forever be watching over you all.

A true southern character that everyone loved so dearly because you truly had no choice. He was one of those rare people you meet in life that after meeting you feel the world is a better place. Now we are the lucky ones because Jim's spirit will always be with us so we can keep seeing the world in the best possible light!

My condolences to Dr. Reynolds family. I worked with him when he was a Consultant to our Laboratory at the S.C. Department of Mental Health. He was a brilliant Pathologist.

Without Jim's professional support and his encouragement, I would not have been able to provide Richland County, as it's Coroner, with exemplary forensic death investigation, beginning in 1978. Working together daily,we became devoted friends. I will miss him until we meet again.
