James L. "Pete" Hawkins, III N. Charleston - James L. "Pete" Hawkins, III. 48, of North Charleston, SC passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 18, 2019 at 12 o'clock noon in Heritage Holiness Church. Visitation will be from 11 o'clock until the time of service at the church. Family and friends will reassemble for burial at 2:30 PM in Plantation Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted. Pete was born December 20, 1970 in Charleston, SC, the son of James L. "Pete" Hawkins, II and the late Yolanda Lea Hawkins. Pete leaves behind his parents, James Hawkins, II and Nancy Hawkins of North Charleston; sisters, Kimberly Bolanos of Chicago, IL and Bobbie Filipetto (Anthony) of Toronto, Canada; aunts, Jama Gillespie of Manning, Roberta Chute of Gastonia, NC, Maxine Fuller of North Charleston, Patricia Ketcher of San Antonio, TX, and Sandy McGarry of Utah; uncles, Robert Ray of Moncks Corner, Jerry Ray (Flo) of North Charleston, and Jack Ray of IL; cousins, Robin Lea Chute, Robert Hardy Chute, and Christopher Eric Chute, all of Gastonia, NC, Margie, Bradley, and Thomas Levander, all of North Charleston, Sandra Rosales of Florence, Robbie Ray of CA, Ricky and Kathy Ketcher of San Antonio, TX, Richard McGarry of Utah, Cheri Diane Taylor of Statesville, NC, Joey Gillespieof Chapin, Jamie Lea Baker of Concord, NC, and Sabrina, Rayna Pearl, Kimber, and Vicky, all of Chicago, IL; special friends and pallbearers, Chandler Hicks, Chandler Hicks, Jr., Scott Hershey, Patrick Ballzigler, Wes Douthit, Larry Hutt, Shands Jennings, and Bradley Levander; and many other cherished friends and family.
