Jack Carter WALTERBORO - Mr. Jack Dempsey Carter, Jr., 62, died Monday, November 15, 2010, at the Coastal Center in Ladson. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 pm, Friday, November 19, 2010, at Grace Advent Christian Church Cemetery. Mr. Carter was born July 18, 1948, in Walterboro and was a son of the late Jack Dempsey Carter, Sr. and Annie Ruth Cook Carter. He was a lifelong resident of the Coastal Center and loved everyone there as his family. He will be remembered for his sweet spirit and good nature and for his love of Elvis and his family. Surviving are: his sister, Sandra Risher of Walterboro; brother, James Michael Carter of Simpsonville; nieces, Emily Risher, Ashley Carter and Niki Cook; nephew, Bill Carter; and many cousins.
