Jack Warren Bracewell Summerville - Jack Warren Bracewell, 97, of Summerville husband of the late Shelba Jean Bracewell, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at The Village of Summerville. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 2 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Rd., Charleston, SC 29414. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to The Village of Summerville, 201 West Ninth North St., Summerville, SC 29483. Jack was born on August 31, 1923, in Atlanta, GA, son of the late Will Battle and Martha Timmons Gandy Bracewell. He served in the US Marine Corps. He was a World War II veteran. Jack was a Greyhound bus driver. He was a member of the James Island Masons. Survivors include: five children: Betty Elaine Smith of Summerville, Jacque Warren Bracewell, Jr. (Eren) of Summerville, Debbie Wilson of Charleston, Norbern Morrison of James Island, and Beth Richards (Johnny) of West Ashley; 16 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. In addition to his late wife, Shelba, and his parents, he was predeceased by son, Wendell Morrison, and sister, Martha Morris.
