A couple of years ago, Guerry joined our morning Sullivans Island Boot Camp. Michael, one of our club members, insisted Guerry temporarily leave his fishing pole and join our breach inlet workout. He did just that and fit in right away. He even joined yoga on Fridays. He was a testament to always trying something new regardless of the age you might start. He would bring water melon on Saturdays at the breach that was delicious and rejuvenating after our hour workout. Everyone in our group loved Guerry and we will remember him always.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Guerry was a faithful member of the BDC dance club for many years and offered his plumbing expertise to save the club money on more than one occasion. Praying that he´s dancing in heaven. Sincerely, Sue and John Hennigan

We knew Guerry from ECBC church and community group. He always had that special grin on his face and an honest view on faith that was refreshing too us. And most notably he picked up my suggestions for how to cook butter beans and loved it. (Don't forget to add a handful of Okra and a couple bay leaves for that lowcountry flavor). Rest in peace friend. Jim & Helen Schroer

So sorry for your loss. Guerry joined our Boot Camp crew on Sullivans Island s few years ago. He was such a sweet and caring man. He was an inspiration to all of us to keep moving! He also would surprise us at times bringing little treats like fresh watermelon for everybody on a hot summer day at the end of our exercise time. He will be greatly missed!

I knew Mr. Tamsberg from Elks Lodge #242, Charleston. Our conversations always focused on the spiritual dimension of life. I know he was a man of faith. May his memory be eternal.
