Ida Polyachenko Obituary

Dr. Ida Gorodetskay Polyachenko Charleston - Dr. Ida Gorodetskay Polyachenko, 101, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Genrikh Abramovich Polyachenko, entered into eternal rest Monday, December 19, 2022. Her funeral service will be held graveside Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in Emanu-El Cemetery (Maryville), Sycamore Avenue, at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel. Ida was born April 12, 1921, in Kiev, Ukraine, daughter of the late Michael Gorodetskay and Sarah Liverant Gorodetskay. She was a Physician. Ida is survived by her daughter, Slava Tsveer (Josif); son, Michael Polyachenko (Svetlana) all of Charleston, SC; five grandchildren: Susan Sacco (Joey), Janet Tsveer, Daniel Tsveer (Helen), Serge Polyachenko and Alex Polyachenko; and five great-grandchildren: Payton Sacco, Annie Sacco, Jacob Sacco, Mila Tsveer and Luca Tsveer.
