Mark Littner
Johnson City - Mark John Littner, 64, of Waukegan, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Mark was a man of strong Christian faith and was known for his tenacity and his ability to work through any challenge that came his way.
An avid cyclist and lover of the outdoors, Mark found great joy in hiking and camping, especially in the Smoky Mountains. He also had a passion for travel and loved flying, especially to the National Parks out west. Music was another important part of his life; he enjoyed playing the guitar and was a lifelong fan of the band Rush.
Mark took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way. He enjoyed his time at Lowe's and held fond memories of his years working at Sam's Club. He attended Waukegan East High School.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Littner & Jan Montgomery; his brother-in-law, Ronald Krieg; his nephew, Joe Krieg; and his uncle, Tom Littner.
Those left to cherish Mark's memory are his wife of 13 years, Kristin Cronenberger; his step-father, Ed Montgomery; his sister, Kathy Krieg; his brother, Mike Montgomery & wife, Jacqueline; his step-mother, Diana Littner; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In honor of Mark, donations may be made to your local homeless or meal provider.
