Holly Kay Ash Johns Island - Holly Kay Ash, 61, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of Steven M. Ash, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 25, 2021. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021 in West Ashley Chapel, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414. Holly was born January 14, 1960 in Salem, Ohio, daughter of Mickey Hubbs and Martha Becknell Hubbs. She grew up in Salem and received an MBA in Finance from the University of Akron, in Ohio. She worked in Investor Relations for Goodyear, AT&T Wireless, and Novelis. Holly founded and was the owner of Ash Insurance Agency on Johns Island for over 10 years. Holly loved her family, friends, and pets as well as her hobbies of embroidery and weaving. She was an avid runner and loved to travel. She is survived by her husband, Steven M. Ash of Seabrook Island, SC; father, Mickey Hubbs of Salem, OH; brother, Michael Hubbs of Marathon, FL; two sisters, Danelle Soroka of Austintown, OH, Cheryl McQuiston of Salem, OH; three nephews, Mitchell Hubbs, Matthew Hubbs, Aaron McQuiston; and niece, Melanie McQuiston.
