I have known your family since I was a little girl..... Watching you grow into a beautiful woman, mother and grandmother has been a pleasure. Heaven has reclaimed one of its own. Take your rest, Pebbles. To God Be the Glory!

My condolences goes out to the family of Hilda (Pepples) Simmons. She will be truly missed !! Just know that God does not make no mistakes and we have a lot of wonderful memories to look back on!!! Love you Delvin and all of Pepples children!!

To the children/family of Hilda "Pebbles" Simmons,

I had the pleasure of meeting & bonding with Pebbles on the west side (BTG) during the late 90's- early 2000's. Through her I met Ms. Jackie as well. They both were loving, caring & humanists by nature. If you were on Hagood avenue hungry and they cooked, you ate. Pebbles was a genuine sweet soul whom had a smile & laugh that would wake up the moon & sun. Sadly I didn't know she was sick until a little over a week ago, but I now know that she fought a good fight. May God continue to bless & keep her children, grandchildren, extended family & friends. I am saddened by the loss of her in flesh but in remembrance I will celebrate her life! ONE LOVE ALWAYS

My prayers and condolence to the entire family. A very special woman that will always be remembered, honored and respected for her decision of who she chose to be! Leaving a remarkable mark on life and it's challenges. A very strong young lady for which her strength alone will help her family through this process. I'm glad to know her and sharing small moments. Her love for family is awesome!

I remember you as a child growing up on the East-Side of Charleston and you always had a great compassion for others and a deep zest for life. I want to send my sincere condolence to your family because your absence to this world is devastating but we must look past our tears and rejoyce knowing that Pebbles is no longer in pain and we must believed Pebbles was greeted by other family members and God's loving embrace. SIP my friend until we meet again.
