I just found out. I'm truly sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. He blessed me in so many ways. I enjoyed waiting on DAD every Sunday at Outback Steakhouse. He became part of my family and I'll miss him.

By the word of the Lord I left home in NY for Chas., SC in 1984. It was also in 84' that I arrived, through a friend who was a member, before Bishop Heyward. I have never forgotten how the Lord moved through this man of God. I experienced the move of the Holy Spirit as I never had before as a young Believer. I know that my life is just one of many effected by the love of God through Bishop Hayward and the church family those many years ago... I thank you sincerely with the love of Jesus Christ. Though sad at his passing I rejoice in knowing that Bishop is now ruling & reigning with the Lord!

May the work you done in the name of Jesus speak for you and you hear well done my faithful servant come on up a little higher with God almighty.

Well done, God has called you to come on in to his Mansion. Bishop Heyward was a true Saint of God and was eager to spead the Gospel (word) of God. His face would light up and that smile was priceless when someone gave their life to Christ. Rest In Heaven Bishop.

I was ordained an Elder of COOLJC under your leadership and have grown so much through your preaching, teaching, counseling, and advice. You took me under your wings closely to prepare me to carry on not only your legacy, but the legacy of the gospel. For that we are thankful! By the grace of God, I am who I am, and we will not let your work fall to the ground - but as our founder charged us all - we will ADD THOU TO IT!
