Herbert Glover Obituary

GLOVER, Herbert Herbert Glover, 81, husband of Mrs. Carol Benson Glover, of Hanahan SC, entered into eternal rest on October 29, 2007 at St Francis hospital. The son of the late Herbert B and Elizabeth W. Faust Glover born September 12, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York, he graduated from the University of Vermont. He retired in 1984 after 30 years with Grumman Aerospace. Mr. Glover was very active in the church in Babylon, New York, and a member of the South Bay Cruising Club. Herb will be deeply missed by his wife of 55 years; his son Bill (wife, Diane: New Canaan, Connecticut); daughter Karen (husband Titus: Hanahan, South Carolina); and 4 Grandchildren: Katherine, Chip, Kylie and Chase. Requiem Mass Friday, November 2, 2007, at 10:00 AM, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 888 King St, Charleston SC. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Charleston Melkite Greek Catholic Community or to the Alzheimer's Association South Carolina Chapter.
