Henry Ladson Obituary

Henry Ladson, Jr. BRONX, NY - Henry Ladson, Jr. was born on September 24, 1932, to the late Henry Ladson, Sr. and the former Julia Dingle in St. Stephens, South Carolina. Upon graduation in 1951 he received a music scholarship from Allen University in South Carolina, however he decided to enlist in the United States Air Force. He served in the war in Korea and rose to the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged in 1955. Henry Ladson departed this life peacefully, after a brief illness on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. His beloved wife Anna preceded him in death in 2004. His two sisters Dorothy Ladson Brewer and Anne Ladson also preceded him in death. Henry leaves to cherish his memories his children, Jacquetta, Henry III, Donya and Malcolm; one brother, Julius Ladson; sisters-in-law, Harridell Ladson, Alice Bocknight, Florence Payne and Patricia Ancrum; brothers-in-law, Harold Payne, Melvin Ancrum, Richard Brewer and Ezekiel Grant; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends and acquaintances. My identical twin brother,Theodore Kelly departed this life 8,April 2003 at Rhode Island hospital here in Providence,Rhode Island.He was a combat vetern in Viet Nam as a U.S. Marine. His obituary along with Funeral arrangements were taken care of by Bell's Funeral Home. He was buried with full military honors at Veteran's Cemetary in Exeter. My sincere condolences go to the family of Sgt. Henry Ladson Jr.
