Henry Cole Obituary

COLE, Henry Henry W. "Bud" Cole III of Charleston, SC passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009. He was born in Charleston, SC on April 7, 1938 the son of Henry Walton Cole, Jr and Thelma Thomason Cole. Bud graduated from the High School of Charleston in 1956 and attended the College of Charleston where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He served in the U.S. Navy and became a career civil servant. Bud worked in Charleston, Washington, DC and retired from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in San Bruno, CA as a Management Assistant with nearly forty years of combined service. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Bud enjoyed his family, friends, travel and loved the study of weather. He is survived by his mother, Thelma E. Cole of Charleston, and brothers, Ronald L. Cole of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Donald A. Cole of Asheville, NC as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 23, 2009,at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
