Henrietta Oliver Obituary

Henrietta Ann Bedenbaugh Oliver Mt. Pleasant - Henrietta Ann Bedenbaugh Oliver, 77, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, January 1, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Ann was born on October 21, 1939, in Williston, SC to Alton and Jacque Bedenbaugh. She graduated from Williston-Elko High School, and received a diploma from Roper School of X-Ray Technology. She married Frank Oliver, whom she met in her church congregation. Then, after moving to Mt. Pleasant, SC, Ann began working for Dr. Lippincott as an X-ray technician in Charleston, SC. Following her husband's death, she worked for Sullivan's Island Child Care for 29 and a half years, where each child became one of her own. Ann was a person that knew no stranger. Her heart was full of kindness and compassion and she never had a complaint. Her passion and knowledge for plants was displayed daily in her beautiful garden. Her joy and gentle spirit will surely be missed. We are comforted to know she is no longer in pain and is at peace in His love. Ann is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Meb Eady and Dr. John L. Eady, of Columbia, SC, her nieces and nephews Jacqueline "Linest" Eady, of Silver Spring, MD, Tasha (Jason) Kreutner-Eady of Mt Pleasant, SC, and Misha (Andy) Eady-Harbold of Charlotte, NC, as well as her cousins Barbara Ann Cass of Greenville, SC and Bill Riley of Clinton, SC; and her great niece and nephew John Ross and Kessler Kreutner-Eady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank "Bub" Oliver, and her niece Elizabeth "Liz" Anne Eady. Memorials may be made to East Cooper Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 583, Mount Pleasant, SC 29465. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com. Visit our guestbook at www.legacy.com/obituaries/ charleston
