Helen Croucher Obituary

Helen Parnelle Croucher CHARLESTON - Helen Parnelle Croucher, 87, of Charleston, SC, widow of Alfred Frederick Croucher entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 2:00 pm. Inurnment, Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. Helen was born January 12, 1926 in Gifford, SC, daughter of Robert R. Parnelle and Medicus Trowell Parnelle. She retired from Operations Administration with the S.C. National Bank and was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. She is survived by her son, Rick Croucher of Charleston; brother, Charles Parnelle of Charleston; sister, Marguerite Houser of Charleston; and two grandchildren, Kyndall Nelson and Derek Croucher. Memorials may be made in memory of Helen P. Croucher to Gentiva Hospice Foundation, 7801 Mesquite Bend Drive, Ste. 105, Irving, TX 75063.
