Judy,

My heart goes out to you and the Mims Family as you mourn the loss of such a wonderful person. Harry was a great boss and a wonderful friend. The 2 of you were great together, you were considered to be an ideal couple. Life as you knew it will not be the same but with God's help, it can still be a wonderful life. I know that your birthdays and wedding anniversary (July 3)were certainly not the same this year but in time it will get easier. May the Love and Peace of God take you to heights unknown.

God bless you always,

Judy, I am soo sorry that I did not know Harry had passed on. I had been out of town for a week and only found out when I was in Sunday School and Patsy told me, He was such a card when he would call me Cora. He is in a much better place without so much pain and suffering. My heart goes out to you.

Judy,
We have just heard about your loss. We are so sorry that we didn't know sooner. Harry will always be remembered by us; the good times we had at the Carolina football games, dressing all in black (hats and all), and his smile. . .it could light up a room. He will be missed. We love you.

Judy: I just wanted to extend my condolences at the loss of your best friend, husband, and father. I know that your strength now will come from knowing that he is in the arms of the Lord with no more pain or suffering. Please let me know if I can do anything to help you, and know that you will always have your brothers and sisters in Christ at West Milton to comfort you . Norah Rupert

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

It is never easy to say good-bye to those we love. When the person is your soulmate, it is near impossible, but God will give you the strength you need. Please let your faith in God comfort you and give you hope. You know that our Lord is right here and He will see you through your sorrow. Few people have the happiness that you and Harry have had, Judy. Remember that happiness each day and know that one day you will join him in Heaven. It is written in the scriptures and I believe it with all my heart...trust in God for He is all-loving and all-giving. May He keep you close to Him through your time of sorrow. I only wish I could be there to offer you these words in person. Please know that I am here for you any time you need to talk to someone. I will be praying a rosary for Harry daily and hope that you find comfort in knowing so many people are praying for you and love you so much. Most of all, I wish you peace.
