HAZEL, SR., Harold The relatives and friends of Mr. Harold Tobias Hazel, Sr., those of his wife, Mrs. Corinne Barre Farrell Hazel, sons and daughters, Mrs. Alyne "Pepper" Hazel Lewis (J.D.), Mr. Harold Tobias Hazel, Jr. (Sherrie), Ms. Marie Bonita Hazel Savage, Mr. Charles A. Hazel, and Mrs. Lisa Corinne Hazel Billington (Courtney), ten grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, three sisters-in-law and a host of cousins are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, September 27, 2006, 11 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 134 St. Philip Street. Farewell and Final Commendation: St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Spruill Avenue. Friends may call FIELDING HOME FOR FUNERALS, 722-3348 or 1-800-290-5954. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, where the Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Charleston, 3870 Leeds Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405, in memory of Mr. Harold T. Harold T. Hazel was a friend for many years in Charleston.Strange enough he started off as my landlord on Poplar Street.I will always remember our talks about basketball and family.The world became a better place because of Harold.

I would like to send my condolences to Aunt Corinne and family during this time. Uncle Harold will be truly missed. Like many others, I also have fond memories of time spent with him. I just want to extend my deepest sympathy to the entire Hazel family. I really loved Uncle Harold…he was like a second father to me. My childhood memories are so filled with wonderful memories of him- from Ashley Ave. to Devareaux.

Uncle Harold is Home with the Lord, and what a reunion the Hazels are having up there! I have lots of fabulous memories of Uncle Harold and hanging out on Devereaux with the family.
My Granddaddy Walter has his brother with him again. I know we all will meet up again.
