He was an artist, a designer, a poet, a writer, and a real estate broker. He prepared tax returns and advised others when they turned to him for advice on financial or tax matters or any other area of knowledge. He enjoyed nature, animals, and his pets. He especially enjoyed relaxing moments in Key West. He had a wonderful sense of humor and wit that he matched to his many audiences . He enjoyed driving the school bus, meeting wonderful and kind families, and watching his passengers grow from inquiring kindergarteners, to young adults. He was known to many of the children and students as Mr. Guy or Mr. G . He drove Bus #1 for many years in the Seaside and St. James Middle and High area of the county. Dear Galardi Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Guy’s passing. I met Guy in 1973 when he hired me at Beneficial. I was only 17 and his strong personality was intimidating to me. It wasn’t long before I felt like part of the family though. I sat for the children and followed Guy to I-C. We had many great times during those years. I guess after that life just got in the way, time passed, and distance separated us. Please know I think of you all often and you will always remain in my heart. With Deepest Sympathies, Suzi.

Dear Galardi Family,
We were deeply saddenned to hear of the passing of Guy. We have you all in our thoughts and prayers. You have been like an extended family of the Phelps' from vacations in Wells, to "adopted sister Michelle", rides from Guy from Mass to Myrtle Beach (and the colorful language it included), tax advice, home cooked meals, laughing at New England when they got snow again, golf with my dad, holiday visits to see the grandchildren, always a good conversation, and being there for my mom when she needed you most, please let her and all of us be there for you now. We are letting our memories ease the loss as you will too...eventually. We know he is in good company, probably playing golf, drinking a scotch. Find comfort in those he has touched. Love, Dawn and Mark

Dear Pat,
I remember like it was yesterday that Guy gave me my first opportunity to work in finance when I came home from serving in the Coast Guard. Later on we got a chance to work together at I.C Credit Union and I enjoyed the friendship that Guy brought to the workplace each day. I shared many laughs and fun stories with Guy that I still talk to friends about, which is always the way I'll remember him. God bless you, Guy Jr. and Michelle. Take care.
