Gerry and Judy, It is hard to believe a year has passed. I have thought of Jay many times , his love of the beach, his beautiful smile. I know your grieving has only just begun, and yet I pray that time is doing some healing. Times like these try our faith. There are so many questions with no answers. God does not always make sense to us mortals. I have had to reestablish myself many times in the Word of God. It is the only true compass. It says His ways are higher, his thoughts wiser than ours. I cling to that. I trust that there is purpose in Jays' passing and that there was purpose in his life. We won't see or know or understand on earth, but theday will come when all things will be made known. This, I
do know, we will meet Jay and all others who received Jesus, again. Until that day, I pray comfort and peace over you, both. Jay would be happiest if he knew you were able to live your life to the fullest in joy and peace. We love you! Dixie

Jay and I knew each other as little kids, and although we lost touch over the years, I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family.

I'm very sorry to hear about Jay's passing. He was easily the most genuine of our class, and he was a great friend. I know it's natural as people graduate and part ways to lose touch with someone, but every time I've seen Jay in the last 9 years, our friendship picked up right where it left off. From all of his Bravo '08 family, we will truly miss him. Please let us know if there is anything any of us can do.
