I am so sorry to hear about the death of my cousin, Gene. Gene was 6 years older than me and I remember him so well as a little girl and him helping me learn to ride my bike. As I became a young teenager, I thought Gene was so handsome and looked forward to seeing him when we came back from Virginia to visit. But, alas, time flies, and we all grow up and away. But it was my good fortune to see Gene last year and visit with him briefly and talk about old times and, of course, his hunting. Azile, we've never met but maybe one day. I'm so glad you and Gene found each other - you all were truly blessed. God bless you and know that Gene is in good hands with your love and God's love. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this trying time.

Azele--Gene was one of my favorite cousins. He was 14 years older than me. When I was a little girl I looked up to him (most people did). He took me to the movies once when I was about 11 years old--I was so excited! He really surprised me at Miranda's wedding with his talent on the dance floor. Even the turkeys of South Carolina must be mourning the loss of such a worthy adversary! I will always remember him fondly. Gene was a great guy and a kind person--I know you will miss him immeasurably. I'm sure he is celebrating with the angels today. Please get in touch with me--I would love to know you and hear about the life you shared with Gene.

I have only known Mr. Todd and his wife for about 3 years, but during that short period of time we became friends. He looked forward to the day he would get his strenght back so he could go fishing and hunting. He had a good sense of humor. I have enjoyed our conversations and will miss you. God 's blessings upon you and your family. With deepest sympathy. Until we meet again.

Azile and Todd. It's supposed to be that way. I'm so sorry, Azile. Please accept my sympathy. I will surely miss Todd's big old grin, waiting around to take you out to dinner, how hard he worked and played, how fair and honest -- and his great hunting, nature, and animal stories that kept us laughing -- and how much he loved you. Azile and Todd -- I love you.
