Gail Kicklighter Meyer CHARLESTON - Gail Kicklighter Meyer, 72, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of John Albert Meyer, Sr., entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 26, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street at 4:30 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Downtown Chapel. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. Gail was born September 25, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Thomas Frederick Kicklighter and Mariam Hodges Kicklighter. She was a Cold Storage employee of the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Gail was a graduate of Chicora High School and a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son, John Albert Meyer, Jr. (Sharyl) of Summerville, SC; daughter, Kay M. Ake of Summerville, SC; seven grandchildren: Sarah, Zachery, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Austin, Albert and Julie; and one brother, Thomas F. Kicklighter of Charleston, SC. Gail was predeceased by her daughter, Angela Elizabeth Trent.
