Frederick Edgar Obituary

Frederick David Edgar EVERETT, WA - Frederick David Edgar (Freddy), died on June 10, 2023 at Providence Hospital in Washington state. Freddy was born on Staten Island to Dorothy and Dave Edga and was one of eight children After HS, he served in the Air Force in Limestone, Maine. He then married and later divorced Marilyn Marsh and had two children, Tracy and Ricky (Frederick David Edgar II deceased). He served as a New York City Police Officer until retiring to Rhode Island and later spent 20 years with his son on Folly Beach. He eventually wound up in Seattle under the devoted, loving care of his daughter, Tracy Watson. His hobbies included shooting pool, and socializing. He always had a good story or two to tell to whoever would listen. Freddy was happiest when he made others laugh. Arrangements through Funeral Alternatives of Snohomish County. "CIAO FOR NOW". Ah Fred you were originally along with "Chubbins" great friends with my parents a long time ago on Staten Island. When I was of age you took me under your wing and taught me about working out (Which I will never stop and I know that just made you smile) and I always loved you for that. Rest easy my friend and say hello to Big Lou! I'm sure you 2 are laughing.

Tracy, I am so sorry to read about your dad's passing. He was my dad's best friend in the Air Force, and our families spent a lot of time together when I was growing up. Absolutely NO ONE could make my dad laugh like Fred. He was a good man.
