Fred Nelson III Johns Island - Fred Nelson III, 64 of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. The relatives and friends of Fred Nelson III are invited to attend his Home Going Service, Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 12 Noon at the Old Ashley Baptist Associational Center, 3275 Old Pond Road, Johns Island, SC., burial will follow at Christ Reformed Episcopal Church, Johns Island, SC. Mr. Nelson will lie in state from 11 AM until the hour of service at the Baptist Center. Viewing will be held this evening at Walker's Mortuary, "Chapel of Peace" from 3 PM to 7 PM. Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by his parents; Freddie Nelson, Jr., and Evelina "Toostie" Gadsden Nelson, beloved wife, Miriam Rivers Nelson, his sisters, Karen Bulter and Juanita Linda Richardson. He leaves to cherish his children; L. Tyrone Rivers and Amber Nelson, his brother, Mark Nelson, Sr. (Vera) and his uncle Harold Nelson Sr., (Violet).
