Frances Rumph N. CHARLESTON - Mrs. Frances Simmons Rump,h of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2023. Mrs. Rumph was the daughter of the late Issac Simmons and Rebecca Walker Simmons, the wife of the late Theodore Rumph, the mother of; Adrienne Gist (Donald), Elaine Harris, Ronald Rumph, Johnny Ray Rumph and Wendell Jerome Rumph (Faye), the sister of Nora Palmer, the grandmother of DeAndrea G. Benjamin (Steve), the late Donald Gist (Cynthia), Antoine Harris, S. Nicole Middleton (Clay), Deyna R. Rumph, Dr. Ashlye Wilkerson (Kobie) and Antoinette Harris. The Home Going Service will take place on Monday, October 2, 2023, 11:00 AM at St. Peters AME Church, 4650 Sanders Ave., N. Charleston, SC. Mrs. Rumph will be laid to rest in St. Peters AME Church Cemetery. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at: www.lowcountrymortuary.com. Good times will be remembered for the 97 years of a well lived life. I always welcomed the stories she shared and the love she had for our family. She will be greatly missed by all of us. We weren't just neighbors we were family. Keeping you all in our prayers. Love and blessings to you all.
