Your mom taught me to be a professional as I was her assistant for many years. She trusted me to pick you up at school and watch over you several times.. I was the driver going to all our Hair shows and training classes for others. We really had some great times I loved her dearly. I hope all your children always remember how wonderful. your mom was and what a gracious and amazing person she was for her family and community and the people that worked for her . I was Jean Jolly back when I worked for her . I was also her Perm specialist, and Jackie was her color specialist at that time. We worked downtown King Street.. I was very sad when I heard the news.. God bless you all family.

I started going tto London Hair back in the early 80's at the salon on King Street. II had my hair and makeup done there for my wedding in 1985. She had the talent to make us all look beautiful!! I have a painting she did of beautiful pears hanging in my dining room. My daughter, Alison, did some modeling and was published and had so much fun with that. God bless you, Stephanie and Joey and the entire family.

To Stephanie and family - much love and prayers for lasting comfort and peace! Oh what a life we celebrate! Frances made a huge impact on the beauty industry in our community! And on our family starting with doing my hair for local TV news and weather (until Stephanie took over my hair- always so gifted and such a loving amazing talented person! Thank you Stephanie for continuing to serve through London Hair.)
Frances gave my daughter Shayna her very first haircut, and as she grew into a beauty, Frances styled and photographed Shayna giving us timeless treasures. Shayna succeeded in TV weather until she married and went to Denver for her husband´s job. Frances´ gifted eye and belief in a person inside and out gave Shayna such a confidence boost to succeed in her career! I´ll never forget how Frances brought New York chic to Charleston. My daughter-in-law Hayley worked for Frances before she married my son, so we are interconnected in many ways! Forever grateful for the serious spunk and artistry. I´m a proud owner of Frances´ artwork from when she first started to sell it - and how beautiful that she continued to paint for the rest of her life. Families are forever.

Francis was an important part of my life...she took me from a Tomboy to a lady thru teaching me the art of modeling. From the time she cut my long hair to a very short cut and taught how to "rock it" . Thank you leading me into the world for fashion...I still love it. You will be an important part of my life and memories. God Bless your family and may GOD wrap his arms around you all.

Loved her! Knew Frances since 1970. Had not been a client for years & called her while in my 50´s that I was getting married. She immediatley said she would style my hair for the big day. That was the big heart she gave so quickly & so willingly.

When I graduated from Farris cosmetology school in 1969 , I went to work for her at London hair on King Street in Charleston South Carolina. She taught me to be professional, and so many of her talents.. I adored her and her family. I was her assistant, also took her children back-and-forth to school and help whatever I could with her personally.. I loved her. My condolences to the family. God bless you all.

Frances, my dear friend and esteemed artist. You kept me and many others too many to count looking at our best. You exemplified talent, determination and compassion. You garnered the respect of all who were blessed to know you. You will be missed and always remembered. I am so thankful you are finally without pain. Heaven will never be the same. The lines will be long as you command scissors and a chair. Rest in peace.

Dear Frances Family, I got to know Frances who was highly recommended when I was visiting my son and his family. I now live here and got to know and love Frances as many do. I just wish I had been here where she had her shop on King Street. I lived all the stories about her trips to New York, and all her classes she taught. In a short time, I learned to love Francis and her hair stying. She will be greatly missed. I am truly sorry for her family´s loss. She lived her family. My love and prayers are with you during all these difficult days. R.I.P. Francis. You will be so missed by many my friend.

How do I sum up in a few words what this amazing woman accomplished in her life? Frances was such an artist, so talented in her field, in her photography, in her art. She was such a strong woman, a kind woman, the matriarch of her family, a fighter. I’m privileged to have known her, to know her family. My deepest sympathy to her loved ones. ❤❤
