Everett Finer Obituary

Everett Edmond Finer GOOSE CREEK - Everett Edmond Finer, 90, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at his son's home in Goose Creek. He was born February 15, 1927, in Bethel, CT, a son of the late Ernest R. Finer and Doris Betts Finer. Mr. Finer was a US Army Corporal veteran as well as a retiree from DuPont of Connecticut. He had a passion for caring for his wife as well as biblical genealogy. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and watching an Atlanta Braves game. Everett is survived by his wife and best friend Marilyn (Pixley) Finer of 42 years; sons Jeff Finer of Goose Creek, Terry (Susan) Finer of Newtown, CT, Kyle (Christine) Finer of Goose Creek, Nick Finer of Lawrenceburg, TN, and daughter Lorraine Parsons of Newtown, CT; stepsons Keith (Barbara) Sutay of Smoaks, Mark (Donna) of Moncks Corner, stepdaughters Gail (Dwight) Moody of Eutawville and Bonnie Eldridge of TX. Everett is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as his many loving friends and neighbors.
