Mr. Curry was my 5th grade teacher at Barr Elementary in 1975/76. That man made all of his students feel special. He was always my favorite teacher. I remember etiquette classes, a train trip on Amtrak where we had dinner in the dining car (had to show us off after what we learned)...and he called me Delta Dawn Mr. Curry was magic!
