Esther Emma Sandifer Charleston - Esther Emma Sandifer, 90, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Ellzey Laverne Sandifer entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 6, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 10, 2015 in Northbridge Baptist Church, 1160 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 9, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. Esther was born January 25, 1925 in Denmark, SC, daughter of the late Aiken Benjamin Gunnells and Susan Ellen Still Gunnells. She was a kindergarten teacher with Northbridge Baptist Church School. She is survived by her two daughters, Trudy S. Duker (Robert) of Irmo, SC, Susan Ellen S. Codispoti (Richard) of Charleston, SC; three sons, Ronnie E. Sandifer (Shirley)of Charleston, SC, Bruce K. Sandifer (Joyce) of Macedonia, SC, and Benjamin E, Sandifer of Charleston, SC; sister, Mildred G. DeHay of North Charleston, SC; twelve grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Northbridge Baptist Church, 1160 Sam Rittenberg Blvd,.
