DeVANE, Elizabeth Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of April 18, 2008, Elizabeth Davis DeVane, widow of Lewis Howard DeVane. Residence, Mt. Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Monday, April 21, 2008 at ten o'clock. Burial will be in Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, GA, Tuesday, at twelve o'clock noon. Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel Sunday between five and seven o'clock. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Mt. Pleasant, 1224 Village Creek Lane B7, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www.jherystuhr.com. Ann and David,
Hoping that you receive my entry into the guestbook at Stuhr's, I also wanted to add that not only is this occasion devastatingly sad to you and your families, as well as the entire Davis family, it's made even sadder (if that's possible) by the fact that the remaining child and matriarch of the David A. and Sarah E. Davis family is gone. It's almost too much to comprehend. I, personally, rejoice, though, as I think of all of them up in heaven reunited with spouces and kin with eternal sunshine, no worries, no pain and the precious light of God shining on their faces forever.
