Eileen Miller Obituary

Eileen McCoy Miller Charleston - Eileen McCoy Miller, 76, of Charleston South Carolina, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 27, 2021. During her time on this earth she touched many lives and was loved by all who met her. She had a gift for connecting with people and making everyone feel important and cared for. Mrs. Miller was born on April 16, 1944 in Washington, DC to C.L. McCoy and Marie Sondae McCoy. She gained her master's degree in social work from the University of South Carolina and had a successful career in both the public and private sector, retiring from the Medical University of South Carolina. Eileen was a beloved friend, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt. She joins her son, Steven Miller, daughter, Darcy Miller Lashinsky, and parents in heaven. She is survived by; two sisters, Marcia Hinson, Patricia McCoy; brother, Ronald McCoy; grandson, Philip Lashinsky; son-in-law, Darin Lashinsky; niece, Molly Bransford; nephews, John McCoy and Brandon Hinson. A celebration of life will be held for close family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Darcy Miller Lashinsky Memorial Pet Food Band at the Nashville Humane Association. Visit our guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/charleston
