Edward Nathaniel Whaley Goose Creek - Mr. Edward Nathaniel Whaley, 77, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal rest on April 17, 2022. The relatives and friends of Mr. Edward Nathaniel Whaley are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1440 Folly Road, James Island, SC. Interment - Payne RMUE Memorial Gardens, 2012 Sea Water Drive, James Island, SC. A public viewing will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the mortuary. Mr. Whaley leaves to cherish his memories: his daughters, Shantelle Umukoro, Edrina Lewis, Edonnisha Washington, and Tia Stover; grandchildren: Grandvera "Tweety" Coleman, Lemar Coleman (Kelsie), Eric Washington, Randall Cargo, Jr., Burt Rhodan, Jr., Jonia Stover, Kiara Jones, Khia Frazier, Terry Frazier, Kelis Frazier, Yemaya Frazier, Kingston Hadley, and Power Edward Frazier; great-grandchildren: Sean June, Randall Cargo, III, Yanai Washington-Hill, Jania Washington, King Coley, Lyric Coleman, and Liam Coleman; siblings: Marion "Bad Boy" Matthews (Margie), Brenda L. White, Betty A. Prioleau (Harry), Robert L. Whaley (Hazel), Mark A. Whaley (Clarissa), Lionel S. Whaley (Cassandra), and Ernestine Heyward; a special niece, Ivy Scott-Champaign (Carl); a special nephew, Floyd Scott; and host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by six siblings: Catherine Scott (William), Hope "Margie" Gilliard (Julius), Mildred "Millie" Whaley, Thomasina " Tommie" Gathers (Larry), Emmie Amy Matthews, and William Scott; and a brother-in-law, Charles White.
