I have a lot of good memories of Edie, especially from my childhood. Part of my love of reading came from her and now my own children get to read the books that she inscribed & gave to me & my brother as gifts. I loved going to the Everglades w/her & can still sing the song she made up about the Everglades. I remember Keith & I crawling into bed w/her in the mornings during out visits & we'd make up stories. She'd start the first part & then each of us would add another part until someone completed the tale. I hope that Keith was there to give her a big hug when she arrived in heaven. I think they're all up there (Edie, Uncle Mike, Keith, Mama Hope, Papaw, Aunt Lil) telling stories & laughing like crazy. I miss you & love you Edie.
