Edith Bailey McGee GOOSE CREEK - Mrs. Edith Bailey McGee, 91, of Goose Creek, SC, widow of Willis McGee, entered into eternal rest on Thursday March 6, 2014. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Edith McGee are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday March 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. The family will have a gathering of friends at the funeral home form 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Edith was born August 27, 1922 in Florence, SC to the late Walter Bailey and Rose Kennedy Bailey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Edith is survived by her 3 sons: Walter Bailey Kirby of Seneca, SC, Traxler Kirby, Jr. of Charleston, SC and James Richard Kirby of Summerville, SC; 3 daughters: Lillie Ann Sligh of Seneca, SC, Donna Ray Kirby of Goose Creek, SC and Louise Langston of Florence, SC; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
