Doug was my boss at McGregor-Doniger in Dover, NJ. I was far from an ideal employee (not half as sharp as he was) but he put up with me and even his criticism was good natured. He loved his family and lit up whenever he talked about them. Throughout my working life, I never had a better boss than Doug. Sorry to learn he is gone.
