To Doug's Family -Many years ago I was a friend of Doug's as well as his family. I will always remember his fun-loving attitude and willingness to "pull one over" on someone. I am truly sorry to learn of his death.

Daddy,
I cannot believe that it has been 2 years since you've been gone. I think about you several times a day, everyday. I can hear your voice lending me wisdom still, and I can hear your laugh when I do something silly or funny. I know that you are still with me and will be with me always, and I am forever grateful that you are my daddy.
Your birthday was exactly a week ago, you would have been 52. Happy Birthday in Heaven, Motorcycle Papa.

I have known Doug for 13 years, and we would follow him to whatever environmental company he was working for. I always looked forward to the times he would stop into my office and we would just talk about life. He would share how much his family meant to him, and how he loved being a Papa, and he was always interested in what was going on in my life. His family is in our prayers, and I just wanted you to know that we are thinking of him. I thank God for such a kind, hard-working soul being in our life.

To my family,

I want you to know that I love you all very much. These past few months have been very hard for us all, but yet endearing. What a blessing to of had the time we did have with our Dougie pooh. I love how close we all have been through this trying time. Doug was an amazing, courageous person. He is home with our Lord, at peace, free from his suffering. He was a fighter.

I thank God for giving us all such a special Man in our lives. He will be truly missed. He was the love of my life!
I love you all and will continue to keep you in my prayers.

Love you,

Karren aka "Carrots"!

Uncle Doug,
He was a good person and he always asked me for a kiss but I was too shy to give him one. Ever since he passed away I have been blowing kisses up to heaven. I will miss him alot!

I'm sorry for the families loss and really saddened to hear this.

I've known Doug for somewhere around 20 years, we both got c/s about the same time and hung around the rooms west ashley as well as james isle etc..

We did step groups together many years ago, I helped him with his first harley a few times...

We lost touch when I moved to Goose Creek and then Summerville but it was always just like just yesterday that we'd seen each other last everytime we met again.

He was a great friend and man, everyone liked him, and I'm the better for having known him.

He always lit up when he talked about you Nicole, he loves you dearly and I'm sure will be in the skies watching over you for the years to come...

I'm sure you have many to help but if there's ever anything I can do just look me up, I'm easy to find...

I'am so sorry for your loss. I know from the many interactions I've had with Doug & your family over the past few months how special he was, and I know he will be sorely missed by many. We here at Universal Environmental Services in St. George SC not only lost a co-worker, but a brother & friend.
Doug was truly missed here at the plant always smiling, going out of his way to take care of "his customers"
Just remember Doug is no longer "dougpressed"
Take care & God Bless.
